The Department of Industrial Engineering at Universitas Jenderal Soedirman publishes the nationwide, open-access, peer-reviewed Journal of Industrial and Mechanical Engineering (JIMIEN). The journal publishes both theoretical and application-focused research in various fields of mechanical and industrial engineering. Although original research articles are the main focus of JIMIEN, review papers and professional pieces are also welcome. To guarantee uniqueness, applicability, and clarity, every submission is subjected to a peer review procedure.

Manuscripts may be submitted in English or Bahasa Indonesia. Twice a year, the journal is released. Authors profit from its open-access approach in several ways, including increased visibility and accessibility to a worldwide readership.

Vol. 4 No. 1 (2026), which was released in June 2026, is the current issue. We hope that this volume makes a significant contribution to the global growth of knowledge in the domains of mechanical and industrial engineering. We remain committed to maintaining and enhancing the quality of our publications in the future.
