Journal of Indonesian Psychiatric Association (JIPA) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by the Perhimpunan Dokter Spesialis Kedokteran Jiwa Indonesia (Indonesian Psychiatric Association). The journal provides an academic platform for the dissemination of high-quality research, clinical studies, theoretical perspectives, and evidence-based practices in psychiatry and mental health sciences.
The journal is published biennially (twice a year), in April and October, with its inaugural issue scheduled for April 2026. Each issue publishes scholarly articles that undergo a rigorous peer-review process to ensure scientific quality, methodological rigor, and clinical relevance.
JIPA aims to advance knowledge and professional practice in psychiatry by promoting interdisciplinary collaboration among psychiatrists, clinicians, psychologists, neuroscientists, public health professionals, and other mental health experts. The journal encourages research that contributes to the development of psychiatric science, mental health services, and policy, particularly within the Indonesian and Southeast Asian context, while maintaining international academic standards.
