Allegation of Research Misconduct

Publication ethics violations include: Plagiarism, Fabrication, Falsification, Duplicate Submission or Conflict of Interest in producing, conducting, or reviewing research and writing articles by authors, or in reporting research results. When authors are found to have engaged in research ethics violations or other serious irregularities involving articles and have been published in scientific journals, the Editor has a responsibility to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the scientific record.

In handling cases of alleged violations of publication ethics, Physical Activity Journal (PAJU), through its Editorial Board, will utilize COPE guidelines to assist in resolving complaints and addressing ethical violations fairly. This will include an investigation of the allegations by the Editor. Manuscripts submitted and found to contain ethical violations will be rejected. In cases where a published paper is found to have committed ethical violations, the manuscript will be retracted.
