A Bibliometric Analysis Entrepreneur Intention of University Students
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to provide a bibliometric analysis of research on entrepreneurial intention of university students. A total of 48 papers published from 2019 to 2024 were analyzed. This study attempts to identify important journals in this field, the years with the most publications, the most cited papers, and the most productive countries and institutions. Then, a co-authorship network map, a co-authorship network map between countries, and a keyword co-occurrence network map are provided. Scopus database was used to analyze big data about various papers included in this study. Then, biblioshiny and VOSviewer software were used to create co-authorship network maps, cross-country co-authorship network maps, and keyword co-occurrence network maps. The number of publications on “entrepreneurial intention of university students” over the past five years is 48 documents. The development of research on “entrepreneurial intention of university” has fluctuated in 2019 the number of applications was 7 articles, in 2020 it decreased by only 2 articles, in 2021 the number of articles increased to 7 articles, in 2022 it increased to 12 articles, in 2023 it decreased again to 9 articles and in 2024 the publication was 11 articles. This paper is an attempt to explain the status of research studies and analyze the progress of studies on Entrepreneur Intention of university students and outlines a bibliometric study that helps organize various sources. This is useful for new researchers who are studying Entrepreneur Intention of university students for the first time and also for those who are already familiar with the field.
