THE AESTHETICS OF AHMAD TOHARI'S SHORT STORIES FROM THE ART PUBLIC PERSPECTIVE
Abstract
Short stories are literary works in the form of prose which generally tell about real or fictional things. The purpose of this study is to analyze the aesthetic elements in the art public. Some of the elements analyzed include interpretation, appreciation, content, form, language style, and evaluation of short stories. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The descriptive method is defined as a problem solving procedure that is investigated by describing or describing the state of the subject or research object (novels, plays, short stories, poems) based on the facts that appear and as they are. While the qualitative method is intended to convey the meaning of the contents of the work. The results of the research can lead to an analysis of art conducted by art readers/public so that it can generate social values that can be manifested in the form of empathy or sympathy or other positive things.
