Jurnal Dinamika Hukum (JDH) (Online ISSN 2407-6562 , Print ISSN 1410-0797) is a double-blind peer-reviewed journal published three times a year (January, May, and September) by the Faculty of Law, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Purwokerto, Indonesia. JDH was initiated in 1996 as a printed journal and has been published online since 2008. The manuscripts published as articles focus on the following two primary approaches:
- Normative/legal research
This approach focuses on legal studies as a normative discipline that is doctrinal and conceptual in nature, relying on secondary data as its primary source. - Socio-legal research
This approach does not solely focus on written legal norms (law in books) but also examines how law is applied and functions in society (law in action). It analyzes the interaction between law and social factors, highlights gaps between legal theory/concepts and legal practice, and is primarily based on empirical data.
With these two approaches, articles published in JDH cater to a broad readership, including legal scholars, legal practitioners, legal researchers, social science researchers, and the general public interested in legal studies.
