Article Retraction and Withdrawal

At Acta Pharmaciae Indonesia: Acta Pharm Indo, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of research integrity and publication ethics. To ensure transparency and accountability in the publication process, we have established the following procedures for the retraction and withdrawal of articles. These procedures apply to authors, editors, and the editorial team.

Article Retraction Procedure:

Initiation of Retraction:

Retraction of an article may be initiated by the author(s) or the editorial team. Authors should provide a written request for retraction, explaining the reasons for the request. The editorial team may initiate retraction if ethical violations or errors in the article are identified.

Editorial Assessment:

The editorial team will conduct a thorough assessment of the retraction request or any concerns raised about an article. This assessment may involve consulting with reviewers, experts, or relevant authorities.

Notification to Authors:

If the decision to retract the article is made, the corresponding author will be informed in writing, and the reasons for retraction will be clearly communicated.

Retraction Statement:

A retraction statement will be published on the journal's website and in the next available issue of the journal. The statement will provide a clear and concise explanation for the retraction, including any ethical violations or errors in the article.

Correction of the Record:

The online version of the article will be marked as "Retracted," and a link to the retraction statement will be prominently displayed. The print version of the journal will also include a notice of retraction.

Article Withdrawal Procedure:

Initiation of Withdrawal:

Authors may request the withdrawal of an article before it is formally published or after publication. The request for withdrawal should be made in writing and should state the reasons for withdrawal.

Editorial Assessment:

The editorial team will assess the withdrawal request and consider the reasons provided by the authors.

Notification to Authors:

If the decision to withdraw the article is made, the corresponding author will be informed in writing.

Withdrawal Statement:

A withdrawal statement will be published on the journal's website. If the article has not been formally published, it will not be published, and no DOI will be assigned. If the article has been published, it will be marked as "Withdrawn" in the online version, and a notice of withdrawal will be added to the print version.
