A. ROLE OF AUTHORS
Originality and Plagiarism
Authors must ensure that their manuscript is original. If they use the work and/or words of others, proper citation must be provided.
Multiple or Simultaneous Publication
Authors are not permitted to publish the same manuscript in more than one journal or publication. Submitting the same manuscript to multiple journals simultaneously is considered unethical publishing behaviour and is unacceptable.
Authorship
Authorship should include all contributors who have significantly contributed to the conception, design, or interpretation of the manuscript. All such contributors must be listed as co-authors.
Disclosure and Conflict of Interest
Authors must disclose any financial or substantive conflicts of interest that may influence the results or interpretation of their research. All sources of financial support for the research project must be disclosed.
Fundamental Errors in Published Works
If an author discovers a significant error or inaccuracy in their published work, they are obliged to promptly inform the journal editor to retract or correct the manuscript.
B. ROLE OF EDITORS
Fairness
Editors must evaluate manuscripts based on their intellectual content without discrimination.
Confidentiality
Editors must not disclose any information about a submitted manuscript to anyone other than the author, reviewers, and other editorial board members.
Publication Decisions
The journal's editorial board is responsible for deciding which manuscripts will be published.
Manuscript Review
Editors must ensure that all manuscripts undergo originality checks. They must also manage the peer review process fairly and with integrity.
C. ROLE OF REVIEWERS
Contribution to Editorial Decisions
Peer review assists the editor in making editorial decisions and helps authors improve their manuscripts.
Standards of Objectivity
Reviews should be conducted objectively. Reviewers must express their opinions clearly, supported by scientific arguments.
Confidentiality
Any manuscript received for review must be treated as a confidential document. It must not be shared or discussed with others without permission from the editorial board.
Acknowledgement of Sources
Reviewers must identify relevant references that have not been cited by the author. Additionally, they should inform the editor of any substantial similarities or overlap between the manuscript under consideration and any other published work.
