Peer Review Process

 

All manuscripts submitted to this journal must fit into the focus and scope of Indonesian Journal of Food Technology and follow the author guidelines of this journal. The submitted manuscripts must address scientific merits and novelties.

Author(s) should present their manuscripts honestly without fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, or inappropriate data manipulation. Author(s) are suggested to use plagiarism detection software to do the similarity checking (please use Turnitin or iThenticate to check the similarity). All manuscripts must be free from plagiarism contents. Editors will also check the similarity of manuscripts in this journal by using Turnitin software.

Submitted manuscripts are evaluated by two expert reviewers (double-blind peer review) for understanding their contribution, originality, relevance, and presentation. The reviewers give valuable scientific comments for improving the contents of the manuscripts. Editor(s) also check the plagiarism detection of manuscripts in this journal by using Turnitin software. 

The final decision of article acceptance will be made by Editor(s) according to reviewers' comments, and Editor(s) shall inform the author (s) about the results as soon as possible (approximately in 8 weeks). The Editor(s)' decision is final and no correspondence can be entered into concerning manuscripts considered unsuitable for publication in this journal. All correspondence, including notification of the Editors’ decision and requests for revisions, will be sent by email.

Editor in Chief will make publication of accepted articles including the sequence of published articles.
