WRITING GUIDELINES
Indonesian Journal of Food Technology
The Indonesian Journal of Food Technology is a scientific publication journal related to agriculture (purpose and scope: http://jos.unsoed.ac.id/index.php/ijft/ published twice a year, namely June and November. Journal it is published by the Food Technology Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Jenderal Soedirman University (UNSOED) and accepts manuscripts on the topics of agronomy, agroecology, plant breeding, horticulture, soil science, plant protection, agribusiness, agroforestry, food science and technology, agricultural engineering, agricultural innovation , agricultural models, agricultural biotechnology and other fields based on agricultural commodities.
The manuscript is in the form of research results in the field of agriculture in general. Manuscripts accepted are those that have never been published or are not in the process of being published in other national or international scientific journals. Manuscripts that are accepted and do not follow the guidelines according to the format in the writing guidelines (Writing Guidelines or Manuscript Templates) will be returned immediately for correction.
FORMAT
Authors must follow the format specified according to the writing guidelines in the IJFT Journal. Manuscripts are written in 1.5 spaces, except for Abstracts which are 1 space typed on A4 size paper (21 cm x 29.7 cm) with 3 cm margins on each side, Times New Roman font size 12 points. New paragraphs use paragraphs on the tab or tab key instead of spaces. The scientific name of the organism (binomial) and foreign terms are written in italics. Equations, formulas, and symbols are written with a word processing facility. The units used refer to the standard Indonesian language. Abbreviations such as Leaf Area Index (ILD), Relative Growth Rate (LPR) and Harvest Index (IP) may be used but must be mentioned beforehand and may not be used in the title of a manuscript. Manuscript pages are numbered sequentially at the bottom right, a maximum of 16 pages including Tables and Figures. Tables and Figures are presented at the end of the manuscript on separate sheets in their original format (JPEG, PNG, Microsoft Excel or others).

Writing references to manuscripts starting from publication in 2021 must use the Endnote/Mendeley/Zotero Reference Manager or other software following the APA format Edition 7.

PROCEDURE FOR SUBMITTING THE MANUAL
The author must fill out the Declaration Form that the manuscript has not been or has not been submitted for publication in other journals and there is no conflict of interest. An example form can be seen on the last page of the guide. Accepted manuscripts will be sent to the Editorial Board for the review process. The Editorial Board has the right to ask the author to make improvements before the manuscript is sent to the best partners. The editor also has the right to reject a manuscript if the manuscript is inappropriate in terms of format and/or content quality. Manuscripts will be reviewed by a minimum of two experts in the field concerned. The Editorial Board will determine whether the manuscript can be published or not, based on the results of review from bestari partners. The results of the review and decision of the Editorial Board will be notified to the author.

PUBLICATION FEES
Manuscripts that are declared accepted and will be published are subject to a fee of IDR 0.00. An additional fee of IDR 0.00 per graphic or color image will be charged. Authors will receive one journal thread along with 5 reprints. The subscription fee for the print version of Agrin is Rp.0.00/year excluding shipping costs.
