BIOSTRATIGRAFI DAN PALEOBATIMETRI FORMASI HALANG DAN FORMASI TAPAK DI DAERAH NOTOG, KECAMATAN PATIKRAJA, KABUPATEN BANYUMAS

Abstract

Studi biostratigrafi dan paleobatimetri berdasarkan kumpulan foraminifera dilakukan di daerah Notog, Kecamatan Patikraja, Kabupaten Banyumas untuk mendukung eksplorasi minyak dan gas bumi di Cekungan Banyumas. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pengukuran penampang stratigrafi pada lintasan Kali Rajut sepanjang 162 meter dengan pengambilan sampel mikropaleontologi di setiap 8 meter sehingga didapatkan 19 sampel. Litologi pada lintasan Kali Rajut terdiri dari Satuan Batupasir -Batulempung (pada jarak ukur 0 – 10,5 meter) yang setara dengan Formasi Halang dan Satuan Batulempung (pada jarak ukur 10,5 – 162 meter) yang setara dengan Formasi Tapak. Dari determinasi kuantitatif diperoleh 36 taksa foraminifera planktonik dan 55 taksa foraminifera bentik. Analisis data distribusi foraminifera menunjukkan daerah penelitian dapat dibagi menjadi 4 zona yaitu Zona Selang Globigerina bulloides – Globorotalia tumida tumida (N16 – N17, setara Miosen Akhir) , Zona Selang Globorotalia tumida tumida – Globorotalia merotumida (N18, setara Pliosen Awal), Zona Selang Globorotalia merotumida – Globigerina venezuelana (N19, setara Pliosen Awal), dan Zona Selang Globigerina venezuelana – Pulleniatina primalis (N20, setara Pliosen Akhir). Analisis paleobatimetri berdasarkan asosiasi foraminifera bentik mengindikasikan adanya regresi pada Kala Miosen Akhir hingga Pliosen Awal (Zona N16– N18) dan pada Kala Pliosen Awal hingga Pliosen Akhir (Zona N19 –N20) yang sempat diinterupsi oleh pulse transgression pada Kala Pliosen Awal (bagian atas Zona N18).
