MEMBANGUN GENERASI BIJAK BERMEDIA SOSIAL: LITERASI DIGITAL PEMUDA DESA BEJI DALAM MEMPROMOSIKAN KEARIFAN LOKAL DAN BUDAYA INDONESIA
Abstract
Perkembangan media sosial telah mengubah pola interaksi masyarakat, khususnya kalangan pemuda desa, yang berperan penting dalam pelestarian budaya lokal. Artikel ini mendeskripsikan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat di Desa Beji yang berfokus pada penguatan literasi digital pemuda sebagai sarana membangun generasi bijak bermedia sosial. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan secara partisipatif melalui workshop literasi digital, pendampingan praktik pembuatan konten, serta diskusi kelompok mengenai etika dan hukum penggunaan media digital. Evaluasi kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada pemahaman peserta terhadap aspek literasi digital, terutama dalam mengidentifikasi informasi hoaks, memahami etika komunikasi daring, serta memproduksi konten kreatif berbasis kearifan lokal. Hasilnya, para pemuda mampu memanfaatkan media sosial sebagai ruang positif untuk mempromosikan adat, budaya, dan potensi desa secara lebih terstruktur dan bertanggung jawab. Kegiatan ini menegaskan bahwa literasi digital tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai benteng terhadap penyalahgunaan media sosial, tetapi juga sebagai instrumen strategis pelestarian budaya dan penguatan identitas bangsa. Dengan demikian, program ini dapat dijadikan model integrasi literasi digital dan pelestarian budaya di tingkat desa dalam rangka menghadapi era disrupsi informasi
