Abstract

Pengolahan sampah di Tempat Pengolahan Sampah Terpadu (TPST) sering kali menghasilkan asap yang berpotensi mencemari lingkungan. TPST Gawa Berkah merupakan salah satu TPST yang berperan penting dalam pengolahan sampah di daerah setempat, namun masih dihadapkan pada masalah polusi udara akibat asap dari pembakaran sampah. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengurangi dampak negatif pencemaran udara melalui penerapan teknologi pencucian asap (wet scrubber) yang dapat menyaring dan mengurangi kandungan zat berbahaya sebelum asap dilepaskan ke udara. Hasil dari program ini menunjukkan peningkatan kualitas udara di sekitar TPST dan efisiensi pengolahan sampah yang lebih ramah lingkungan.
