KONTEKSTUALISASI AGENDA RESOLUSI 1325 PBB WOMEN, PEACE, AND SECURITY PADA LEVEL LOKAL DI KABUPATEN BANYUMAS

Abstrak

ABSTRACT

This research is intended to elaborate efforts and challenges to implement the UN Women, Peace, and Security agenda based on UN Security Council Resolution 1325 of 2000 in Indonesia in particular in the local area of Banyumas district. The UN WPS Agenda was submitted through the Regulations of the Minister of Coordination for Human and Cultural Development of the Republic of Indonesia No. 5 Year 2021 on the National Action Plan for the Protection and Empowerment of Women and Children in Social Conflict 2020-2025. Implementation of the WPS agenda in Banyumas District through RAN P3AKS will be seen through three pillars: prevention, management, empowerment and participation. It should be noted that Banyumas District is one of the districts in Central Java that contributes cases of violence against women and children. Therefore, the objective of this study will be to observe how the implementation of RAN P3AKS in Banyumas district and the challenges faced in implementing the pillars of prevention of gender-based violence, handling gender-based violence, as well as empowerment and participation of women in the management of social conflict. The method in this research uses qualitative methods, and uses data collection methods such as in-depth interviews.
