PENENTUAN KECAMATAN BASIS KOMODITAS JAGUNG DAN KETELA DI KABUPATEN BANYUMAS
Abstract
Determining the base commodity in an area is important to optimize potential. The commodity base in a region is also a reflection of the availability of its resources. Banyumas Regency is a region that has 27 sub-districts on a certain basis in each region. Corn and cassava are two important food commodities for every region as a substitute for rice as the main food. This research aims to determine the sub-district base for corn and cassava commodities in Banyumas Regency. The data used in this research is secondary data originating from the Banyumas Regency Central Bureau of Statistics. The data used is time series data from 2017 to 2021. The data analysis method used in this research uses SLQ (Static Location Quotient). Based on the research results, it can be seen that there are 8 corn-based sub-districts and 5 cassava-based sub-districts in Banyunas Regency. Sumbang District is a corn-based district with the highest SLQ score of 7.43. The sub-district with an SLQ score of 2.57 is at the top of the cassava-based sub-districts.
