PERBAIKAN TEKNOLOGI PENGOLAHAN DAN IMPLEMENTASI SISTEM JAMINAN HALAL PADA UMKM GROPAK DI DESA WLAHAR WETAN, KALIBAGOR, BANYUMAS
Abstract
"Oelah Tela Geropak" is one of the MSMEs that processes cassava into Geropak in Wlahar Wetan village, Kalibagor District, Banyumas. The problems faced are that production equipment, especially grinders, are still limited in capacity, the cleanliness of production equipment and facilities is not maintained, they do not have labels for packaging and the packaging is still as is, they do not have a P-IRT certificate and they do not have a halal certificate. The objectives of this PKM Science and Technology activity are as follows. 1) Improving the quality and quantity of MSME production "Oelah Tela Geropak. 2) Accompanying the preparation of the Halal Guarantee System so as to obtain a halal certificate. Activity methods include training, practice and mentoring. Activities include: 1) Increasing the capacity of geropak grinding machines to increase production quantity; 2) Assistance with label design for packaging and making smaller packages; 3) Assistance in processing P-IRT certificates and 4) Assistance in preparing Halal Guarantee System Documents (SJH) and processing halal certificates. The activities that have been carried out have resulted in several Geropak MSMEs being assisted to register for halal certificates, and 6 of the halal certificates have been issued. Problems in terms of process sanitation are also overcome by making para-paras for the drying process so that the carts are kept clean. In terms of production capacity, production time is saved by 300 percent with the help of a cassava grinding machine.
