Author Guidelines for Southeast Asian Studies & Strategic Perspectives (SEA-Insights Journal)
Thank you for your interest in submitting your manuscript to SEA-Insights Journal! We are excited to consider original and high-quality research that contributes to the understanding of Southeast Asia from a variety of disciplinary perspectives.
Please carefully review these guidelines before submitting your manuscript.
Manuscript Submission:
- Manuscripts should be submitted electronically through the journal's online submission platform (http://jos.unsoed.ac.id/index.php/sassp/index).
- All submissions must be accompanied by a cover letter stating the following:
- Title of the manuscript
- Author(s) names, affiliations, and contact information
- Word count
- Abstract (no more than 250 words)
- Keywords (5-7)
- Manuscripts should be prepared according to the following format:
- Font: Times New Roman, 12 points
- Line spacing: Double-spaced
- Margins: 1 inch (2.54 cm)
- Length: Articles (6,000-8,000 words), Review articles (4,000-6,000 words), Policy briefs (2,000-4,000 words)
- Language: English (American or British spelling accepted)
- Style: Chicago Manual of Style (17th edition)
- References: Use in-text citation and provide a complete list of references at the end of the manuscript.
- Figures and tables: Number consecutively and place captions below.
- Abstract: Include a separate abstract of no more than 250 words.
- Keywords: Include 5-7 keywords relevant to your manuscript.
