Arah dan Inovasi Kebijakan dalam Mendorong Transformasi Gaya Hidup Halal di Era Ekonomi Digital

Abstract

The emergence of technology through digitization can drive the overall growth of the Islamic economy. This condition presents an opportunity for Indonesia to become the center of the global halal industry, thus requiring in-depth exploration of the integration of halal lifestyles with digital technology. The aim of this research is to contribute by providing practical recommendations to enhance the competitiveness of Indonesia's halal industry in the context of the global digital economy. This study applies qualitative methods with literature review as the basis for analyzing directions and policy innovations in promoting the transformation of halal lifestyles in the digital economy era. The results show that the penetration of digital technology into halal lifestyles brings significant changes in how consumers access halal products and services. This condition is evidenced by the ease of accessing e-commerce and other sharia financial technologies. The large Muslim population in Indonesia presents a very strategic opportunity to lead the digital halal market and innovation. The recommendations offered in this study include the need for cooperation to promote the harmonization of global digital halal standards, the need for investment and halal technology research in higher education and business incubation, the need for public knowledge regarding digital halal transformation, and emphasizing the empowerment of women, youth, and UMKM actors in digital halal policies and programs.
