ASSESSING THE IMPACT OF VARIABLE FOOD SECURITY ON POVERTY REDUCTION: A COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF INCOME PER CAPITA
Abstract
This research examines the relationship between food security and poverty reduction, focusing on the role of income per capita. By analyzing data from various regions with differing levels of food security, we aim to understand how fluctuations in food availability and access affect poverty rates. Our research reveals that while higher income per capita can contribute to reduced poverty, it is the stability and reliability of food security that play a crucial role in sustaining poverty reduction efforts. The findings highlight the importance of integrated policies addressing both income inequality and food insecurity to effectively combat poverty. The study's insights can inform policymakers in developing strategies to enhance food security and reduce poverty, ultimately improving overall well-being
