Etnobotani Tumbuhan Obat pada Gradien Ketinggian di Lereng Gunung Lawu, Jawa Tengah, Indonesia
Abstract
Ekosistem hutan pegunungan Indonesia, seperti kawasan Tahura KGPAA Mangkunagoro I di Gunung Lawu, merepresentasikan lanskap bio-kultural yang unik dengan keanekaragaman hayati tinggi dan tradisi pengetahuan lokal yang berkelanjutan, sehingga menjadi sumber penting bagi kesehatan, kesejahteraan masyarakat, serta konservasi lingkungan. Penelitian ini mengkaji pemanfaatan etnobotani dan potensi farmakologis tumbuhan obat di sepanjang gradien ketinggian Tahura KGPAA Mangkunagoro I, Gunung Lawu, sebagai landasan ilmiah untuk konservasi dan pengembangan etnobotani tumbuhan obat. Metode transek sabuk sepanjang 8,6 km dengan lebar 10 m digunakan untuk inventarisasi spesies, dilengkapi wawancara semi-terstruktur dengan masyarakat lokal dan validasi literatur farmakologi. Hasil identifikasi menemukan 66 spesies tumbuhan obat dari 41 famili, dengan famili dominan yaitu Euphorbiaceae, Lauraceae, dan Moraceae. Zona Montana Bawah (1200–1500 mdpl) memiliki kekayaan spesies tertinggi (38 spesies, 57,58%), diikuti Zona Montana Atas (1501–2400 mdpl) dengan 22 spesies (33,33%), dan Zona Sub-Alpin (>2400 mdpl) dengan 6 spesies (9,09%). Habitus yang paling banyak dimanfaatkan adalah perdu (30,30%), diikuti herba (28,79%) dan pohon (18,18%). Daun merupakan bagian yang paling sering digunakan (44,19%), disusul akar (11,63%) dan buah (10,47%). Validasi ilmiah menunjukkan kesesuaian tinggi antara penggunaan tradisional dan khasiat farmakologis, seperti Centella asiatica untuk penyembuhan luka dan Clinacanthus nutans sebagai antidiabetik. Beberapa spesies, seperti Trevesia sundaica, masih memerlukan penelitian farmakologis lanjutan untuk membuktikan klaim tradisionalnya. Studi ini menegaskan pentingnya konservasi keanekaragaman hayati dan pengetahuan tradisional di kawasan pegunungan tropis serta membuka peluang pengembangan fitofarmaka berbasis kearifan lokal.
