LEAD Journal is a semiannual publication for all those involved in English language education and development as a foreign language or as an international Lingua Franca. The Journal welcomes both research-based and theoretical development within the domains of English language teaching and learning, applied linguistics, translation, education, curriculum and syllabus development, teaching media and material development, information and communication technology in teaching and learning, educational management, and psychology.

LEAD Journal serves to facilitate a dissemination of academic research and development within the aforementioned fields. It aims to become the hub of critical discussion of the theories and practice for English language teaching and learning development. This Journal can mean one of the primary references for language teaching practitioners to update their repertoire on how English language is taught and learned in context-based education and learning.

The Editor of LEAD Journal is supervised by the Advisory Board of the Faculty of Humanities of Universitas Jenderal Soedirman in terms of its development and publication.
