PEMODELAN KEBUTUHAN GIZI PADA BALITA DENGAN ARTIFICIAL NEURAL NETWORK

Abstract

ABSTRACT. An information on the data is not easily obtained if the data is not presented well. The nutritional needs of toddlers are important to be studied to get an information about growth of these toddlers. This research studied the nutritional needs and its factors by using Artificial Neural Network (ANN) model. These factors are toddler's age, gender, weight, height, and activity. Nutrition data for children under five years old was obtained from interviews at 47 Posyandu locations. The results showed that the resulting ANN model gave quite good results where the error value generated was 0.024.

ABSTRAK. Sebuah informasi pada data tidak mudah diperoleh apabila data tidak disajikan dengan baik. Kebutuhan gizi balita penting ditelaah untuk mendapatkan tumbuh kembangnya balita. Penelitian ini mengkaji kebutuhan gizi balita dan faktor-faktornya menggunakan model Artificial Neural Network (ANN). Faktor-faktor yang dimaksud adalah umur balita, jenis kelamin, berat badan, tinggi badan, dan aktifitas. Data gizi anak dibawah lima tahun (balita) diperoleh dari hasil wawancara di 47 lokasi Posyandu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model ANN yang dihasilkan cukup baik dimana nilai kesalahan yang dihasilkan adalah 0,024.
