Journal of Language Education Studies and Applied Linguistics (JoLESAL) (e-ISSN: xxxx-xxxx|p-ISSN: xxxx-xxxx) is an open access with peer-reviewed journal, published by Department of Japanese Language Education, Faculty of Humanities, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Indonesia, in collaboration with Asosiasi Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Jepang Indonesia (ASPBJI) and Asosiasi Dosen Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia (ADOBSI) (See the MoU Manuscript). It is an interdisciplinary publication of original research and writing on language education which publishes papers to international audiences of educational researchers, that can be accessed freely to support greater knowledge exchange and sharing. This journal ensures double-blind peer review for every submitted manuscript.
Issued twice a year (every June and December), Journal of Language Education Studies and Applied Linguistics (JoLESAL) provides a forum that deals with discussion on local wisdom-based language, literature, cultural studies and educational research (more on Focus & Scope). The JoLESAL aims to provide a forum for scholarly understanding of the field of education and plays an important role in promoting the process that accumulated knowledge, values, and skills are transmitted from one generation to another; and to make methods and contents of evaluation and research in education available to teachers, administrators and research workers.
