Abstract

ABSTRACT


In 2016, malnutrition prevalence in Mijen was higher than Semarang City, which was 4.2%. Purpose of this study which conducted in May 2018 was identify effectiveness extent of Children’s Nutritional Care Post Program Based On Local Potential for nutritional problems in Mijen. This research was field research with mixed method analysis technique. Focus of research was effectiveness of program includes input, process and output. Nine informants were determined using purposive sampling technique. Qualitative data analysis used Miles and Huberman while quantitative data used descriptive percentage with effectiveness criteria of Arikunto (2002). Results showed that inputs program were according with SOP, process program were effective in invention of nutritional cases (60%), effective enough in case treatment (50%) and effective in nutritional assistance (60%). Output program, there was differences weight of toddlers before and after intervention about 0.3 kg-1.9 kg. Nutritional status can not be defined because lack of program duration. Conclusion is Children’s Nutritional Care Post Program Based On Local Potential was effective to overcome nutrition problem in urban fringe area.
