Abstrak

Inverter is an electronic device that has a function to convert DC current into AC current. Inverters are widely used in electronic instruments commonly used in daily life. One application of inverters is in geoelectrical instruments such as frequency domain Induced Polarization (IP) method. The frequency domain IP method is performed by injecting AC current in the low frequencies (1 Hz and 10 Hz) to examine underground mineral content. Therefore, a module is needed to convert DC (direct current) into AC (alternating current) which has two output frequencies of 1 Hz and 10 Hz. This research uses H-Bridge Inverter topology, driver circuit IC IR2110 to convert DC direct current into AC alternating current with output frequencies of 0,99 Hz and 9,80 Hz. The loading test is carried out by providing a variety of resistive loads 2 kΩ-50 kΩ and an input voltage of 273 VDC. At a frequency of 0,99 Hz, the maximum output current is 0.132A, maximum power is 33,05 W, the voltage drop is 9%, and the waveform of output voltage is an imperfect square wave whose amplitude value changes following the output current value. While at an output frequency of 9,80 Hz with an input voltage of 273 VDC, the voltage drop is 10%, the maximum current value is 0,124 A, the maximum power is 30,567 W, and the output voltage waveform is a square wave
