The journal management commits to provide spacious room for discussion on results of research related to empowerment and development. The journal does not limit the articles to particular discipline. It does rather to have manuscripts from a wide range disciplines from political science, sociology, public policy, agriculture, environmental studies, publich health, to animal production. As long as the manuscript contain issues on empowerment and development, editors will consider to publish it.

The multidisciplinary nature of this journal is a reflection of the publishing institution, Postrgraduate Program. The institution hosts some mulitdisiciplinary postgraduate programs: Environmental Science, Agricultural Extension/Community Development, Agricultural Business, and Management Studies.
