Analisis Atlet Terbaik (MVP) dalam kompetisi Bolavoli Senior

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi penentuan atlet terbaik dalam suatu kompetisi tidak berdasarkan kriteria yang jelas. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memilih atlet bolavoli terbaik dalam suatu even kompetisi tingkat kabupaten. Metode penelitian deskriptif dengan teknik survei. Subjek penelitian yaitu 14 atlet, terdiri atas 6 atlet putri dan 8 atlet putra. Sampel penelitian menggunakan purposive random sampling. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan rubrik pengamatan dengan melihat beberapa aspek baik skill dan juga aspek psikologis yaitu attitude atau sikap dan leadership atau kepemimpinan dalam tim. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar pengamatan. Pengamatan dilakukan hanya pada saat pertandingan puncak atau grandfinal saja. Point (+) yang dikumpulkan setiap set digabung dan dijumlahkan yang terbanyak pointnya maka atlet tersebut terpilih menjadi atlet terbaik (MVP) dalam kompetisi tersebut. Analisis data menggunakan teknik deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: salah satu atlet putra dari klub bola voli Rajawali dengan point total 16 point yang terdiri atas (spike: 10 poin, serve: 3 poin, block: 1 poin, dan recive: 2 poin) menjadi atlet terbaik (MVP) putra dengan rata-rata point per set adalah 5 point, dan MVP Putri dari klub Baja 78 dengan point total 15 poin (spike: 8 poin, serve: 3 poin, block: 0 point, dan recive: 4 point) menjadi atlet terbaik (MVP) putri dalam even Bhayangkara Cup 2022 dengan rata-rata point per set adalah 3 poin. Atlet terbaik (MVP) diperoleh dari pengamatan skill dan psikologi mampu menentukan secara ideal best player dalam suatu even bolavoli. Kesimpulan penelitian terpilih atlet terbaik dalam suatu even berdasarkan jumlah point yang diperoleh dari skill atlet saat laga grandfinal dan secara psikis sikap atlet tersebut di dalam timnya.
