REVIEW LITERATUR STUDI RETROSPEKTIF DAN LAPORAN KASUS KARDIOMIOPATI PERIPARTUM DI INDONESIA

Abstract

Kardiomiopati peripartum (KMPP) belum mendapat perhatian yang cukup dari masyarakat dan tenaga kesehatan di Indonesia. KMPP yang tidak ditangani dapat mengakibatkan komplikasi berat atau kematian, dan angka insidensinya bisa tinggi pada populasi tertentu yang mencapai 1:100 kelahiran hidup. Hasil studi retrospektif dan laporan kasus KMPP di Indonesia akan dideskripsikan dan ditelaah dalam review literatur ini.  Dari hasil pencarian literatur melalui situs Google Cendekia dalam 10 tahun terakhir, didapatkan lima artikel studi retrospektif dan delapan artikel laporan kasus. Angka insidensi KMPP di Indonesia berkisar antara 1:134 sampai dengan 1:136 kelahiran yang seringkali disertai dengan preeklampsia. Lebih dari 80% kasus KMPP terdiagnosis dengan gejala moderat atau berat dan memerlukan terapi perawatan intensif. Adanya perbedaan hasil studi, baik antar studi di Indonesia maupun dengan studi dari negara lain, disebabkan oleh jumlah sampel yang sedikit, rentang waktu pengambilan data yang terbatas, serta metodologi penelitian yang tidak seragam. Penelitian multisenter dengan jumlah sampel yang besar diperlukan untuk mendapatkan hasil penelitian yang valid dan reliabel.
